Great story and even better acting. A must see for anyone but especially for wrestling fans.

Great multi-layered movie. Plots on image, bullying, father- don relationships and even a little teenage romance. A mix of Karate Kid and Rudy, it has some great 80's nostalgia throwbacks. Whoever said RJ mitte was wrong to act more ‘disabled' than he is was wrong: who it was written about has had greater challenges and this thoughtful show demonstrates the real focus and feelings of his life and character. Cannot wait to buy it and show to everyone i know!

Great story and so inspiring! The actors did a great job of bringing the story to life. I loved the resilience of the characters through challenges and bonus points for the 80s setting & music!

I am giving this movie 5 stars because it comes from the heart of Mike Coffey, who is a 5-star person. It helped me understand what he has gone through as someone who has CP, and confirmed for me that he is one of the most determined people on the planet. I watched on Facebook as he worked to get this film made, and the obstacles he faced seemed insurmountable at times, but he never gave up—and "Never Give Up" is his mantra. My wife and I had the privilege of seeing the finished product at a screening that Mike attended in the flesh, and it was so exciting to see his vision come alive, to see familiar actors onscreen telling the story he wanted to share so much, and to recognize Mike's own dogged determination in the faces of the wrestlers onscreen. Thank you for offering the world this window into your life, Mike!

One word "INSPIRATIONAL"! This movie is the ultimate "never give up on your dream" no matter what it takes. The character in the film shows us all that when the chips are down you have to keep getting back up and charge ahead with hope, action and desire to achieve that dream. This movie proves that through sheer will and determination, we can overcome anything! Great movie, great acting!

That was pretty bad, especially when RJ Mitte has to act more disabled than he actually is and his character is as weak as it is in this "1970s TV movie". Obvious, cringeful and down right awful! Did this movie have to be made??? And whoever is responsible for it needs to get back to the 70s.

Don't do it!!!! I had high hopes and this movie did not deliver. Great actors ✅, based on a true story✅, trailer was excellent ✅, how did the director get it so wrong💁…this could have been a really good movie, but in the wrong hands…💩

Perhaps 'Triumph' might suffer from the general issues of it's genre but it also means well and RJ Mitte's perfomance will definitely let out some tears from the audience. (6.5/10)
