A dull nothing of a film. No emotional stakes, no sharp action. Barely any characterization. The whole thing was just cheap and uninspired. Stick with the first film and don't bother with this one.

It's a good adaptation. Better than any other I've watched. I really recommend this.

Very good definitely recommend. Especially if you seen the anime .

When I first saw this movie, it reminded me a little bit of the Underworld series (Vampires vs Lycans/Vampires vs Vampires, and the action scenes), and live-action Resident Evil series (with of the action scenes). I thought this wasn't a bad movie, plus this my first time I saw a movie in another language in theaters. I hope I get to see a future sequel to this movie. But one more thing, some of the scenes were similar to the anime and manga which I recognize and I thought they did a fabulous job on this.

I just got to say about this movie, some scenes were a little similar to Anime/Manga, like Tsukiyama obsession of Kaneki, and Touka coming to Kaneki's aid. But with Tsukiyama throwing one of his henchmen into the air fan that's something that didn't happen in the Anime or the Manga. But I still love it. This is the first subtitled movie I saw in theaters. I also think a mix of Human vs. Ghouls/Ghouls vs. Ghouls sounds similar to the Underworld series and Live-Action Resident Evil.

I enjoyed the movie and can't wait for the next one, hope they continue this series. There were some minor changes of scenes that were only in the anime and manga but I'll let it slide.

Not the worst anime adaptation I've seen but nothing fantastic. still a decent watch though! Not a lot of effects are used so Kagune fights are very few and far between.

I'm a fan of the source material so I knew what to expect. The action sequences were awesome but the melodrama slowed the pace considerably. Was hoping the director would lean more towards action horror with this entry.
