The Virtuoso
audience Reviews
, 27% Audience Score- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis is a good movie. If you are looking for a fast paced shoot em up movie this is not. The personal reflection and inner turmoil is fascinating. A man questioning his life. The suspense and intrigue is great. I loved it. Definitely worth a watch. Once again the critics hated it so I knew I would love it.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsI enjoyed the experience. Perfect slow burn. The characters were likable. If you like gratuitous action, this movie is not for you, but there was enough action and mental stimulation to keep me interested throughout.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsA list cast D list script.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThe first 2 Minutes give u feeling for the whole movie. Just a goofy Film.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsNot the worst thing put to film. And Anthony Hopkins is a delight with his speeches. Not many redeeming qualities apart from Sir Hopkins but you could spend a few hours hung over worse.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsSlow paced but worth a watch. Interesting take on a hitman film, i liked the style of narration throughout as if you were watching an audiobook play out. The pace did feel a little too slow at times.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThe worst casting I have ever seen in my life. Painful.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsVery much an Alfred Hitchcock sort of film. I really enjoyed it and I watch A LOT of thrillers. The ending makes you question whether it is just a vicious cycle…
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsNow if this movie had been made 40 years ago or so it would have been considered a cult classic but as a modern movie (after we have seen so much better) it stinks. Yeah we have seen A movies and we love them, we have also seen some darn great B movies but this enters the C movie category. But why? The actors are all fairly heavy weight so that's not it... Hopkins is as sinister as ever, so again that's not the problem. What is the problem however is a wooden script and a plot with as many holes in it as a colander and don't get me started on the narration that is kept going throughout the film. For those of you old enough to remember the PS1 we had games where you had to click on different objects on the screen and a voice would give you options for your next move. It didn't work in gaming and it does not work in films either. And to add insult to injury it is highly likely that you will see the twist very early on in the film and that makes it dull. Somehow I just had to watch it, loyalty to Hopkins maybe but I never ever will watch it again. This one makes the C list, the whole thing would make excellent fertilizer.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI thought it was a good movie, plus you get to see some boobies.
