This movie is awesome! I like the idea that this looks real. Well done with the CGI. I will not give spoilers. I loved it. I know you will too. This is family friendly but unlike the cartoon version this being looking real might be tough on little ones. (5yrs old and under). It is on the Disney+ channel.

Really emotional, so well made. Incredible cinema, I highly recommend seeing it.

The Lion King remake has lots of impressive visuals, but it's lack of originality and the fact that realistic animals can't emote make this pale hugely in comparison to the original film. It is still very entertaining though with the same plot and songs as the original.

The first time I watched the lion King it became my favorite movie and today it is still my favorite Disney movie. As a little girl I would watch the movie over and over, I knew every line by heart and so when I heard about a live-action version coming out I was so excited, but I also had really high Expectations. This movie did not live up to those expectations, in fact I was very disappointed about how the movie came out. Taking out my favorite parts of the original, and not adding new ones that were even better really upset me and the version of Be Prepared was... Also, I love Beyonce, but all those runs Can you feel the live to night were not necessarily. I have not watched the movie again since then and I am not planning to. It was a horrible movie and I did not like it. On a good note I loved the visuals and I was so glad that they used James Earl Jones to play mufasa.

Finally saw this. So boring. If I wanted those visuals I'd watch Planet Earth or something similar. If I wanted a good musical I'd watch the original. So what's the point of this except to take our money?

This movie is not the Lion King I grew up on and loved. The changes made in this movie make me sick. I will never watch this movie again. I'll give it a star and half for its good CGI.

In contrast to the live action revamps of DUMBO and ALADDIN, Disney did not botch up THE LION KING. Besides its poor lip synchronization, the film goes above and beyond the boundaries of anamorphic CGI; taking a legendary animation and revolutionizing it into a new unforgettable experience

The animals' version of Hamlet is superbly animated and mostly engaging despite its very predictable plot, cliches and some wild music.
