The reason the critic scores are so much higher than the views is that this isn't a heroic Americans-are-always-good-guys kind of war flick. This is a suspense thriller which depicts the abuse of leadership and power that happens in war. It's worth watching because it isn't a normal military film.

Just another let's spit on soldiers movie from Hollywood that's been around since the Vietnam War. Nothing new to see here. This movie is boringly predictable.

This film falls within the genre of Middle-Eastern war movies, and despite its occasional slowness, it felt that the pacing of the movie was deliberate and intentional, and didn't hinder it, but rather enhanced the overall narrative, which was well-crafted. For soldier type rolls, the performances are commendable across the board and the director effectively conveyed the story. I highly recommend it if you're into this genre.

What happened AT FIRST ? We have to know it . It happened at first , September 11 . Because of this , off course , it's totally Bad and War Crime , we know that . American people or this War Criminal guilty wants to say " Many American Innocent People was killed by Terrorists at September 11 2001 " ? But , it's War Crime , St. Sg . Gibbs had justified . 10 years later , he can relief from jail , it's maybe , American military decision , because of Bin Ladin . I can accept it , he will go out of jail 10 years later . It can't be accepted , because of War Crime , but , many Innocent American people were killed by Terrorists attack . Is this o.k. ? American soldiers want to say . Probably . Now a day , Ukraine is invaded by Russia . It's just War Crime , too . Russia is Completely Wrong , we know it . Then , Taiwan crisis by China , in the future . This is the World , sometimes , it happens , peace isn't stable . We love Peace , off course . But , we have to protect Peace by Military , it's necessary , if , we don't like it or not .

Intense acting with an effectively convincing storyline.

Only just scrapes in as watchable. The protagonist is annoyingly weak. Maybe that's how he was in real life but the story isn't really interesting enough to warrant watching the documentary or reading to find out more. In the end we're give the impression that one man blowing the whistle on such criminals would quite easily being them all to justice, leaving me wondering whether the vast majority of crimes went unpunished simply because of the weak-mindedness or cowardice of the soldiers. You would think that's not the case, but this movie doesn't even attempt to address those systemic issues.
