You will not know which way is up, or down, or which direction this is all heading. But surprisingly enough, this film somehow makes to a dramatic finish line. I almost quit after the first half...but you know the golden rule, follow your dramatic film heart

Interesting concept, with appropriate storytelling. But it seems like the filmmakers couldn't decide where to go with this story. Is it going to be rather a dark comedy story or a dramatic gloomy reflection of the human condition? It is in a strange in-between position.

Not good... just a bad story, well told but still bad.

3 stars; I'm not totally sure what to say about this movie ("Dumb and Dumber" meets "Smokey and the Bandit"). It is the ultimate dumb redneck movie, but not like "Dukes of Hazzard". Yeah. The humor is dark and sick. It was a crazy weird sitcom. All that being said, I still had sympathy for those sad rednecks. The acting was good enough to make the characters seem like real-life country hicks. That was enough to add that last half star.

Fargo but even dumber people. Great film!

An odd and funny movie about a couple rural dolts who try to cover up the death of their friend in the stupidest ways possible. The two lead characters play off each other incredibly well and the degree to which almost every character is a bumbling idiot is really silly. Good, but definitely not great.

Surprising, well-thoughtout slow build, very funny at times, fascinating
