Though at times dipping into Hallmark territory, the story of Israel 'Reefa' Hernandez is one that should be told, and lead Tyler Dean Flores is an actor who deserves to be seen.

Reefa is worth seeing.

A solid social drama based on a true story about the problem with policing reminiscent of "Fruitvale Station'.

Moving and powerful film that is regrettably becoming more common. A sobering reminder of how it is becoming harder to escape reality through movies.

Whatever you think of spray-painting graffiti on private property, it's clear that if any penalty is to be exacted, it should not be a death sentence.
