Panipat - The Great Betrayal

What did you think of the movie? This movie is absolute waste of time. It seems that every actor had different idea of the movie hence everyone's expressions and dialogue delivery was horrendous. None of the actors read the script and discussed it. The dialogue writer did an half assed job, The era was not considered at all while drafting dialogues, the pronunciations were ignored, Every one in the movie kept saying Delhi, its "Dilli". Star Cast wasn't appropriate either Arjun Kapoor's marathi accent was worst. If at all he would have tried for 20 days to develop Marathi accent, his accent would have sounded more convincing.. This is the "sense of entitlement" in celebrities born to a celebrity, they wont put any effort in making, acting, directing movies. Arjun Kapoor had zero fitness level as compared to warrior yet he was casted as "Sadashiv". All in all it was a total loss of my 3 hours which I would never get back..

The movie is a nice movie but not a great historical movie and it has nationalism a discriminations and it cast's the battle as more of a phyricc victory for the Durrani Empire then a a crushing defeat for the Marathas

History shown as very wrong! Hindus will make up anything to show themselves as successful !

Entertainment value - Nil Historical accuracy - Abysmal This movie has nothing to offer other than trumped up nationalistic pride after a 250+ year old failed battle. Waste of time.

FAKE STORY, OVERACTING, FALSE REPRESENTATION

This movie tried to be detailed account of the invasion a defense of the subcontinent but focused too much on the Sada shiv roa where as there were soo many complex and interesting characters that were a very important part of this conflict. This could have been a very interesting film but it seemed to be a glorified Bollywood style Tribute to the Maratha Valor.

Distortion of history.

This was a great movie.

Pompous star-stuffed tragedy marred with surprisingly bad acting, shockingly bad direction, and soulless dialogues. This move feels fake!
