Fun and upbeat. A movie you can just sit back, enjoy the music... And not think!

Didn’t fully connect like some of the more recent music releases. Still glad I saw it.

The absolute best movie at Sundance in 2019. Full of emotion. I can't imagine anyone giving this less than five stars

Springsteen fans will love it and viewers of Indian cinema won't hate it. Far from it. Glad there was cooperation with Springsteen but also that they included Hindi/Urdu music in an important scene. Moreover, they tastefully brought in cultural issues and an homage to the integration of dance so famous in Bollywood films. Above all a touching tribute to "the Boss" and the cross-cultural capacity of music to express human longing for a brighter future.

Very good movie. Much better than "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood"

It’s a good movie. Thriving to get out poverty and breaking away from certain traditional rules that was set in “ancient time” in ethnic cultures. Then the major one: chase after your dream. The movie give us an insight to a variety of themes: racism, culture, religion, and so on. I could understand why some people would say this movie isn’t all that great. It’s like a Disney movie, either you enjoy them singing 1-2/3 of the movie or you don’t.

Don’t do it unless you are a big fan of Bruce Springsteen. Even then it is overwhelming filled with Springsteen lyrics like a musical. It was difficult for me to sit through the whole movie.

Terrific film, well-acted and it shows us a slice of UK when the Pakistani immigrants were so badly treated -- which then reminded me of today, here in the USA and the awful treatment of our immigrants. The acting was great, the story was touching and what a superb film this turned out to be. A terrific movie worth watching.
