This charming docu mostly offers a point-in-time snapshot, rather than a comprehensive retrospective. Interesting and occasionally insightful, there's lots to love here for fans of the band and the man.

I watched it on a plane, and was captivated the entire time. Granted, I'm a phan, so this was right down my alley, but I loved getting the insight into how one of my favorite guitarists got to be where he is and see what's important to him.

It was like having a visit with my favorite artist. It was great to see his interactions with the other band members and his family and friends . Seeing how each person contributed to making a new song was very cool. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Even if you're not a fan of the Phish from Vermont, this is a fantastic documentary. You get an inside look at true masters of their craft, taking music and the listener to place that 99% of other artists cannot go. This is a must watch.
