Really good story and fascinating actors. You may have a glance at the true China today, though from a sad perspective, but still you see hope there.

Very good movie. I thought I was the only one reacting except there were many others. In some ways "Better Days" reminded me of Brooklyn, NYC in the 1950's via China. The movie even had a quick scene of Orwell's Room 101 rats in a cage as psychological and physical ultra-violence was being delivered making sure the female who stands out in any way is hammered down. Did two heroes learn "to love" or become like the sado gangs, students or police Big Brothers at the end? No they didn't. Apart from translation is this the same version shown in China?

one of the best movies I've ever seen. Never cried like this at the cinema ever before.. will go down as a classic.. definitely deserves a nod at the oscars. the performances and film making / directing were incredible.

This is a good movie. It's touching and impacts many strong emotions on audience. The style is pragmatic, thorny and also dissects exactly the dark side of society - school bullying. The main actor and actress completed their performance very well, the chemistry between them impressed me a lot. The main actor - Jackson Yee controlled his stage fluently and persuaded me in each moment he appeared.

Awesome movie, and it is not even "my genre." But this one was so powerful, in writing, directing, and the performances, esp. by Zhou Dong-Yu and Jackson Yee. Not to be missed.

Movie was great. I like the way the director tied the story together. So sad to see the way this young gal and others like her were treated by lesser talented students. Go see the movie, the 2.5 hours will fly.
