Not really knowing if this is really a true story or not but I do know she was married to him. This was never mentioned by her in any other interviews. As for the movie it wasn't that bad. It would be nice if the story could actually be corbratated.

Supposedly a prequel to ‘Monster', but nowhere near as good or as accurate. As a true crime drama Monster is way superior. I think much more is fictional than accurate in this film. Peyton List makes a great villain in the right film, and is entertaining in genres like Cobra Kai. Her character is more like some super villain in a teen slasher flick, which is weird considering this is supposed to be based on a real person and real events.

Peyton List se ve hermosa y enojona como siempre pero el personaje (bah la historia de la película en general) jamás llega a tener ningún sentido, no tiene ni pies ni cabeza. Olvidable.

Wasn't that bad and fills in her early story. Did not know any of it. I understand the "monster" tags. Though severely abused.....a monster she was.🙏🏾

Horible, I can't believe I watched this until the end, I was hoping it might possibly redeam itslef but no. Thumbs down across the board on this one. Netflix states that it is "Loosely based on the serical killers life"...VERY loosely would be more accurate.

Probably could have done a few more read throughs. A terrible answer to a question no one asked.

This film had potential to be good but pretty much everything about this film is terrible. The acting, the cast, dialogue, editing, everything. If I could rate less than half a star, I would.

This screen play had almost nothing to do with Wuornos actual story. It was the first time I heard of her marriage, otherwise, it was all fiction.

Peyton is an excellent actress but in this film she wasn't the best choice to play a rough serial killer. Overall, the movie isn't great, don't waste your time. I'd give one star but gave the second one for Peytons efforts.

The story structure reminds me a lot of "My friend Dahmer" and that is not a good thing. Considering the story paints her almost like she was in the right to murder everyone she did as all the men wanted to fuck her. Not sure if the real Aileen said that, but it's possible. Multiple times men tried raping her, like the murders were justified. I love Peyton List, big fan, and I know why she did this movie. To break into more adult parts, but this turd is completely unwatchable.
